TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF STORYLAB
SATURDAY, JUNE 22 • 10AM - 2PM
@ A/D/O • BROOKLYN, NY
We’re in the age of the multi-hyphenate, where the future belongs to the curious, purpose-driven, interdisciplinary creative minds who aren’t afraid to relentlessly act on their “crazy” ideas. But when you’re juggling multiple things, it’s easy for the many to get messy — especially when it comes to describing what you do in your day-to-day conversations, conversations that can accelerate or impede your progress.
IF THAT RINGS TRUE FOR YOU AND YOU CRINGE OR FUMBLE AT THE THOUGHT OF RESPONDING TO “TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF,” OR “WHAT DO YOU DO?” — YOU’RE EXACTLY WHO I DESIGNED THIS EXPERIENCE FOR.
What’s a storylab?
Whether you’re getting grounded in your niche, finding your footing for what’s next, or making a big career transition, the Tell Me About Yourself (TMAY) storylab is an intimate, interactive opportunity to learn how to compellingly share the layers of yourself and your work — not for transactional gain — but to initiate meaningful conversations, confidently discuss your craft in your daily interactions and high stakes moments, and foster genuine connections that help propel the big ideas you’ve been dreaming up.
During the storylab, I’ll teach you my 6-step TMAY method and coach you through creating, practicing and refining a new introduction for one of your most challenging conversational moments, from networking events and interviews to email introductions and pitching new ideas.
Our hub for the storylab is A/D/O, a gorgeous interdisciplinary creative public space dedicated to exploring the future of design
The storylab is open to just 15 participants so you’ll connect and learn within an intimate, values-aligned community of entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, designers, consultants and creative professionals
